I said yesterday that I could never manage a post about all my favorite 1D interviews because there are just TOO MANY OMG but a bunch of people have been discussing stuff on twitter, so here is a v.v. abbreviated list of some that I love, aka I have like 10 minutes to make this post so this is all you get right now SORRY D:

1. Okay, so this is basically one of my favorite interviews ever:



2:10: the interviewer reaches over and touches Louis' leg, and Harry flashes his BACK THE FUCK OFF MY BOYFRIEND face and grabs Louis' thigh to remind everyone that yes, Louis is all his.

7:50: they start groping each other, which is meant to be silly, but they look completely flustered after and start whispering and giggling.

8:37: Harry talks about how he and Louis spent all day in bed together (no really) watching a special about boy bands.

9:23: Harry says with this adorably hilarious sincerity, "I love a good boy band." HARRY YOU ARE MY FAVORITE ♥

In conclusion, they are delightful and I love them.

HELLO :D So, I haven't been around DW/LJ as much lately, but you can often find me on twitter or tumblr. However, since neither of those platforms can sufficiently contain my squee, I have no plans to stop posting here anytime in the foreseeable future. Anyway! Some things!

1. There's an Arthur/Eames Heat Fest happening now at arthur_eames! Click on over for the rules, but basically anything heat-inspired, whether it's ARTHUR TAKES HIS PANTS OFF AND BENDS OVER BECAUSE HE'S HOT or ARTHUR TAKES HIS PANTS OFF AND BENDS OVER BECAUSE HE IS IN HEAT. Either way, Eames is very happy and that is all that matters.

2. Speaking of Inception, the two-year (omg what) anniversary of the fandom is approaching, and obviously this is cause for a massive flailfest aka party aka awesome things. STAY TUNED FOR DETAILS. Also, you guys. Two years flgjs;gf HOW DID THAT HAPPEN OUR BB FANDOM IS ALL GROWN UP sobsobsob.

3. Um, can we talk some more about the Tom Hardy GQ interview? I know everyone was flailing about it on twitter the other day, but I am still not over this. BECAUSE SERIOUSLY.

GQ: All right, changing subjects... How do you define style?

Tom Hardy: Like this grooming and styling thing? It's fucking poodles. Human poodles. I feel sorry for a poodle because he's a dog. You know, a dog is a fucking great creature. They would do anything for you. And the poodle gets a haircut. No one asks if the poodle wants his hair cut like that. Do they? They just fucking cut his hair like that. And he just walks around. And everyone is like, "Why is that poodle so snarky?" Fuck you.

Tom Hardy continues to be a ridiculous human. I CONTINUE TO WANT HIM DESPERATELY.

4. Okay, so JGL is filming a new movie that's about...something Idek what because my brain cannot get past these pictures.



His arms. And his hair. Just. WHAT. (More here and here.)

5. At some point I want to do a post about my favorite Harry and Louis interviews, but there are SO MANY OMG and I am basically just like lksdhgldsgh WHERE DO I EVEN START. But for now, I would like very much to discuss this one.



They are ridiculously adorable throughout the entire thing, but my favorite part is around 5:00, when they can't stop gazing adoringly at each other while obviously exchanging some kind of secret signal and they basically forget they are being interviewed because they are so lost in their own world. Of course, my favorite part of all is that with this description alone you'd have no idea what interview I'm talking about because THEY DO THAT IN EVERY INTERVIEW EVER.

1. Okay so first of all, I am so delighted by all the comments on my post about Harry and Louis that are basically like OKAY I GIVE IN. They make it so easy, I know.



A bunch of people have asked me about fic and stuff, but I am still stuck in the EEEEEE PUPPIES ♥__♥ stage of fandom, and haven't read all that much. BUT I PROMISE TO SHARE :D

2. The boys of Merlin (Bradley James, Adetomiwa Edun, Eoin Macken, Rupert Young, Tom Hopper) were at Soccer Six today, and it was so very delightful to see pics of sweaty Bradley all over my twitter feed when I woke up :D gealach_ros has a a great roundup post here, with tweets, pics, etc. BRADLEY I HAVE MISSED YOUR RIDICULOUS FACE.

3. Tom and Charlotte arriving in Nice for Cannes.



Charlotte looks casually stylish. Tom looks like a beach bum with a furry animal on his face. THEY ARE PERFECTION ♥

4. I have had this really long post in my head for ages about how Avatar: the Last Airbender is the BEST SHOW EVER OMG and everyone should watch it because it will make your life better I AM NOT EVEN KIDDING. I really need to just sit down and type it up, but until then, this is me telling you that you should totally watch The Legend of Korra. I can't comment on the series as a whole like I can with AtLA, but everything so far has been fantastic. lkdsjfgsdl I will have more to say later! JUST WATCH IT I PROMISE YOU IT IS AWESOME :D

5. Finally, it seems like the parts of fandom I'm in have been experiencing some growing pains recently as people move on to new fandoms and pairings. It sucks when people drift away from the stuff you still love, but it's fandom, it happens, and hey, I don't like everything on the internet any more than you do. But! If you disapprove of what I post, I would like to kindly request that you do it in places that are not my journal. Fandom offers many outlets for venting/criticism/etc, but this right here is the one tiny corner of the internet where I do get to make the rules. And those rules are: squee hard, play nice, BONUS POINTS FOR COMMENT PORN.

So, if you follow me on twitter, you saw this coming a mile away. As for the rest of you, this post is all about One Direction. YES REALLY. In case you do not know, One Direction is a boy band made up of wee bb boys. They are all adorable and charming and snuggly, and basically the human equivalent of puppies, but today I am here to talk about Louis and Harry. This is them.



DO NOT TRY TO GET THEIR ATTENTION. THEY AREN'T GOING TO NOTICE YOU BECAUSE THEY ONLY HAVE EYES FOR EACH OTHER.



Here is what you need to know about Harry and Louis: they are English, they are legal (I promise!), they live together (NO REALLY), they share each other's clothes, and they can't. stop. touching.

OKAY. So I have been contemplating the 100 Things challenge, and yesterday on twitter, I said I was going to post 100 Awesome Things About Math. WAIT STOP WHERE ARE YOU GOING COME BACK IT IS TOTALLY GOING TO BE AWESOME I PROMISE OKAY. The truth is, I am very unlikely to actually make it to 100 things because I am SO FLAKY OMG and also because I am very distracted by shiny things aka pretty people. But right now, I've been thinking about math a lot, so here is THING ONE.

I was originally going to start off by talking about Archimedes and infinity and calculus blah blah blah, but then I started poking around on this site and went and got myself all worked up. This list isn't like OFFICIAL or anything, and there is definitely going to be some disagreement among mathematicians in the rankings, but I do feel like overall it accurately reflects how history remembers the contributions to mathematics.

Today is the second day of the week in photos meme, and I realized that it was going to end up looking an awful lot like yesterday D: But I do not want to bore you with endless pictures of lattes and math, so I decided to take pictures of my makeup instead, because that is much prettier than endless integrals. To most people, anyway. I happen to find integrals very aesthetically pleasing :D
